JPGs are great for sharing digital photos because they can be compressed to keep files relatively small but still look good on a screen.

PDFs are also pretty familiar. A PDF is a type of document file that typically contains text pages. But it can also have hyperlinks and, in some cases, images. In contrast to JPGs, PDFs are great for sharing on the web, as they’ll always appear the same no matter what device they’re viewed on.

How to convert an image to PDF?

As great as JPG images are, you can’t put more than one page of them into a JPG. If you wanted to show a friend 10 images, for example, you would have to send 10 separate JPGs, which could be a hassle or infeasible depending on the context.

But those are limited to 300 pages each, as PDFs can expand to eternity. Each of those pages might be a replica of a JPG image. That way you could share one PDF with lots of images instead of having to send it to someone piecemeal.

Converting a batch of JPGs into a single PDF could, for example, be useful to a photographer who wishes to share themed samples of their work. It would also work well for a designer who wants to show a few variations of a design that could be made. There are lots of reasons to have a PDF with a set of JPGs!

How to convert an image to PDF for free?

For a start, upload 1 or as many as 20 JPG images. There are no file size restrictions on your JPGs, however, but you can only do up to 20 at a time. To upload them, simply drag and drop them onto the gray “Drop Your Files Here” area. If you’re on mobile, tap the “UPLOAD FILES” button and then browse your collection of JPGs.

Our tool will also analyze the files after they’re uploaded. Before we proceed, double-check that your images are in the order you’d like. You can rearrange the images in the queue to correct any issues. Just bear in mind the first image will be page one of your PDF, the second image will be page two, and so on.

Once the conversion is complete and your images are in the correct order, you’ll just have to click the “COMBINED” button. You will receive a single PDF with all the images. But should you wish to, you can also download each JPG as a single-paged PDF by pressing the “DOWNLOAD” button just below that image.
